Promising no commercials nor political speeches, on October 6th the Glenn Martin Quintet plus one will play jazz at the Bull & Whistle from 6:30pm onward.
The Bull & Whistle is housed in an early 20th Century Mill, an adaptive reuse facility that refurbishes old buildings for new uses while retaining their original features. The Mill is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Playing tunes from Gershwin, Cole Porter, Miles, Monk, and Mulligan, the Quintet consists of Glenn Martin, trombone, Jeff Goold, drums, Ryan Williams, guitar, Dennis Burnside, piano, Roger Bissell, trombone, and Wayne Renardson, acoustic bass.
Great food and drink, no cover, no minimum, with free parking.
Dinner for two with wine costs $30.00.
Jazz musicians are invited to sit in. A setlist is available by e-mail from wayne@renardson.org
